Your neighbors
are your customers.

Let's reach them.

Get your business in front of every home in town with a curated quarterly mailer, plus a digital directory that keeps working all season.

Reaching your neighbors shouldn't be this hard.

You've tried the options. Here's why they keep falling short:

  • Digital ads keep getting pricier. Every year the cost per click climbs, and most of those clicks come from people nowhere near your front door. You're paying for impressions, not customers.

  • "Local targeting" usually isn't. The big platforms promise to reach your neighborhood, but their idea of local is a 15-mile radius and a guess. The households closest to you are the ones hardest to reach online.

  • Print used to work, but the audience left. Local papers and magazines lose readers every year. The mailer that used to land in every home now lands in a shrinking few.

There's a better way to get in front of the people who actually live near you, and it's the one thing the algorithms can't touch: their mailbox.

That's why we built The Town Square.

The Town Square is a full-color, oversized quarterly mailer delivered through the USPS Every Door Direct Mail program to every home in your community. Each edition features a curated group of non-competing local businesses, each with an exclusive offer residents can act on immediately.

Your business also lives on our digital directory at townsquare.biz, keeping you visible long after delivery day.

Made in Berlin. For Berlin.

The Town Square isn't a national franchise with a template and a call center. It's produced right here by Papersmythe, a Berlin-based design and print studio. When you advertise with us, you're working with a neighbor who knows these streets, these neighborhoods, and these customers, because we live here too.

That means real accountability, real design care, and a piece your neighbors actually trust. The businesses on The Town Square aren't random advertisers. They're your community, vouched for by the fact that they're standing alongside each other on the same trusted piece.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes — especially when it's local and impossible to ignore. Our oversized 9×12 piece doesn't compete with a feed full of distractions. It lands in the mailbox, gets noticed, and often ends up on the fridge. Direct mail consistently outperforms digital for local, in-market reach, and the QR codes and digital directory let customers act on your offer instantly.

  • A coupon book is dozens of businesses crammed onto cheap paper that goes straight to recycling. The Town Square is curated — a limited number of businesses, one per category, on a premium full-color piece designed to be kept. You're not buried in clutter. You're featured.

  • They can't. We feature one business per category, period. Once your category is filled for an edition, your competitors are shut out.

  • No. You send us your logo, a photo, and your offer — we handle the design, the printing, and the mailing. You approve a proof, and that's the only thing you touch.

  • Each edition is delivered to every home in the target ZIP codes through USPS Every Door Direct Mail — nearly 10,000 households in Berlin Boro and Berlin Twp.

  • Placements start at $750 for a Spotlight and go up to $1,800 for a Storefront, our largest premium placement — plus applicable New Jersey sales tax. That's a fraction of the $4,000+ a solo mailer to the same homes would cost.

  • Each offer runs through the end of the edition's season, giving residents a full quarter to act — and giving you a full quarter of visibility.

  • The Town Square is produced by Papersmythe, a local design and print studio right here in Berlin, NJ. We're your neighbors, not a national franchise.
